Kevin Vaughn
Kevin plays Eb and Bass Clarinets and has been playing with Salem Symphonic Winds since September 2010.
Kevin was born in Massachusetts and his neighbor was an oboist. He also trained with C. Hazlett on Eb clarinet.
What do you enjoy the most about playing?
Tackling difficult pieces. I've really enjoyed doing NW and US premieres with SSW.
Do you have a favorite musical memory?
Playing "Scent", the concerto for Eb clarinet and concert band. The piece was really dfficult!
Share a fun fact about yourself
I am a world famous ornamental plant breeder and moved to Salem for that purpose.
